Job Title: Registered Nurse Emergency Room
Location: Maryville TN
Type: Contract 13 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Night Shift (3x12 Hours) 7:00 PM 7:30 AM 36 Hours Per Week Every Other Weekend Floating May Be Required

Pay Rate:
Local Pay: $45 - $47/hour
Travel Pay: $50 - $56/hour (Including Stipend)

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse Emergency Room for an exciting Travel or Local job in Maryville TN.

Responsibilities

• Assess triage and prioritize patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries.

• Deliver safe effective and evidence-based nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting.

• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.

• Administer medications treatments and intravenous therapies according to physician orders and facility protocols.

• Perform emergency interventions and assist during trauma cardiac and critical care situations.

• Operate and document medication administration using Omnicell.

• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in EPIC.

• Collaborate with physicians advanced practice providers respiratory therapists and healthcare teams.

• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses treatments discharge instructions and follow-up care.

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies patient safety standards and infection control procedures.

• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

• Float to other units as needed based on patient care requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse (RN) License.

• Minimum 1 Year of Recent Emergency Room (ER) Experience.

• Minimum 1 Year of EPIC Documentation Experience.

• Strong clinical assessment critical thinking and emergency response skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity environment.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• BLS (Basic Life Support).

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).

• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale).

• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention).

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.

• Experience working in a high-volume Emergency Department setting.

• Strong adaptability and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
