RN Convenience Care | Urgent Care River Campus

Join our CentraCare team as a Registered Nurse (RN) Convenience Care at our new second location Urgent Care at River Campus (next to the Emergency Room) Opening February 2027!

Youll work with a team of amazing healthcare professionals every day. Youll join them to listen then serve guide and heal!

At Urgent Care the RN will work in a fast-paced environment and will be responsible for working as a valuable member of the health care team making independent and dependent decisions under the direction of a provider. The RN is a competent nurse who has mastered technical skills and uses evidence-based interventions in providing age-appropriate care to patients and families. The RN continues to collaborate with other health care team members when the need for assistance is identified. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Maintains competencies for practice. Primarily responsible for triaging symptom-based walk in patients that present to the clinic. Functions as a liaison between providers patients and staff in the delivery of nursing care.

Schedule:

• Part-time 48 hours every 2 weeks
• 12-hour shifts from 9am-9:30pm
• Variable Days every two weeks
• Every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays

Pay and Benefits:

• Pay based on experience and degree
  • Pay range: $41.46-69.18 per hour
    • Associates in nursing starting at $41.46 per hour
    • Bachelors in nursing is starting at $42.90 per hour
    • Masters in nursing starting at $44.33 per hour

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Associates Degree or higher.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with the state of Minnesota.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required; can be obtained internally upon hire.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Possesses the ability to patients medical records physician orders and to be communicated to the patient and hospital staff.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and in a team setting with minimal supervision.

To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position. Previous employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
