Registered Nurse Gastroenterology Hepatology and Nutritional Health

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our ambulatory clinic team. Our RN plays an essential role in coordinating patient care providing education and supporting treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care coordination for challenging digestive diseases including:
• Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Crohns disease and ulcerative colitis)
• Hepatology patients with liver-related disorders
• Pancreatobiliary patients with pancreatic and biliary conditions
• General gastroenterology patients requiring ongoing management and follow-up
• Educate patients and families on disease processes medications procedures and treatment plans
• Manage telephone triage patient questions medication coordination and follow-up care
• Assist with biologic therapies specialty medications prior authorizations
• Promote evidence-based practice and excellent patient experiences

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license to work in Colorado.
• 1-year of RN experience is required.
• Prior ambulatory care gastroenterology hepatology infusion or specialty clinic experience preferred - GI Knowledge
• Strong communication organization and critical-thinking skills
• Commitment to providing compassionate patient-focused care
• BLS through the American Heart Association with card in-hand before start date.

Salary

• BSN - $36.76/hourto$54.06/hour
• Valley View recognizes a 4% pay difference for (RN-ADN BSN MSN)
• Annual Bonuses based upon organizational and individual.
• Eligible for a $4000 bonus after your first year and an additional $4000 bonus after your second year. (Internal Candidates not eligible)
