The Risk Program Administrator plays a key role in supporting the organizations enterprise risk management framework as part of the second line of defense. This position focuses on risk reporting control assurance issue management and exam readiness across information security third-party risk and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills excellent judgment and the ability to collaborate across departments while driving process consistency and risk transparency.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate risk assessments with internal and external stakeholders and support risk appetite/tolerance tracking.
- Maintain and monitor KRIs/KPIs validate data submissions and prepare management-level reporting.
- Execute issue management processes for information security and third-party risk including tracking escalation and remediation updates.
- Prepare evidence for audits and regulatory examinations; support management action plans and monitor open issues.
- Develop and maintain departmental standards procedures and detailed process maps.
- Prepare materials for risk technology and information security committees including presentations and program effectiveness reporting.
- Support third-party risk and information security programs through coordination documentation and operational tracking.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis deep-dive investigations and special projects to support enterprise risk management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risk trends challenge assumptions and recommend improvements to policies and practices.
- Maintain current knowledge of financial industry regulations cybersecurity frameworks and risk management standards.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors or masters degree required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management third-party/vendor management cybersecurity operations or related program support.
- Strong understanding of risk management practices information security terminology and third-party risk concepts.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and workflow analysis skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
- Strong communication skills (verbal written and presentation) with the ability to convey complex topics to leadership.
- Ability to negotiate influence and build collaborative relationships across departments and with external partners.
- High degree of initiative strong organizational skills and ability to self-prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of contract frameworks cybersecurity operations and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Visio Outlook); experience with Power BI ServiceNow or Concur preferred.
- Solid work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
