Revenue Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly quarterly and annual reporting cycles for key client accounts ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Prepare financial statements and reporting packages including income statements balance sheets and cash flow reporting.
• Analyze profit and loss accounts investigate variances and resolve discrepancies in partnership with Finance and Sales.
• Oversee revenue recognition activities for key accounts collaborating with technical accounting and business teams to ensure proper treatment.
• Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations including cash accounts receivable deferred revenue accounts payable and accrued expenses.
• Partner with Finance Sales and Treasury to improve collections monitor outstanding balances and support cash flow objectives.
• Research accounting matters and assist with technical accounting documentation as needed.
• Work with internal stakeholders to resolve outstanding reconciliation items and improve the accuracy of financial records.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting strengthen data integrity and streamline recurring accounting processes.
• Utilize ERP systems advanced Excel and reporting tools to improve financial analysis and reporting efficiency.
• Support internal and external audit requests related to financial reporting and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related discipline.
• CPA preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience with a background in financial reporting and general ledger accounting.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP revenue recognition and financial reporting principles.
• Experience with ERP platforms such as NetSuite SAP Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables lookup functions and Power Query.
• Exposure to business intelligence or data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
• Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with Finance Sales and other business partners.
• Public accounting experience is a plus.
