Retail Shift Supervisor job

As a Retail Shift Supervisor at Desserts Etc. youll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while leading and supporting our team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the dessert case beverage center retail area and guest service during your shift.
• Leading and supporting team members while ensuring company standards and procedures are upheld.
• Opening and closing the building as a key-holder including completing opening and closing procedures.
• Ensuring food beverages and desserts are prepared and presented to Desserts Etc. standards.
• Providing excellent customer service and addressing guest questions or concerns.
• Training and coaching staff while holding team members accountable for performance and quality standards.
• Maintaining a clean organized and safe environment in line with food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Operating and troubleshooting the POS system and assisting with day-to-day operational needs.
• Communicating with management about shift updates staffing needs maintenance issues and other important information.

Were seeking a confident organized and proactive leader who leads by example. To succeed in this role youll need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• 34 years of experience in a restaurant café bakery or similar environment.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Strong communication organization and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude strong work ethic and willingness to step in wherever needed.
• Comfort using POS systems computers and basic Microsoft Office programs.
• ServSafe Manager Certification (required for full-time positions).
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including days evenings weekends and opening and closing shifts.
