Working in partnership with the store manager and supervisors this individual provides leadership direction to ensure team member satisfaction and the achievement of financial $/year DOEEssential Functions and Responsibilities Understand operational metrics; implement plans to achieve goalsDiscuss the operations and results of the business with fluidity and knowledgeMaximize sales through proper stock rotation merchandising signage identification of e-commerce merchandise and inventory levels of new and used goodsAssure a continuous flow of product through production support and partnership with inventory and new goods; provide the customer with an excellent assortmentInspire and actively engage in excellent customer service; both internal and externalDevelop strong working relationships throughout the enterprise; partner effectivelyAttract hire develop inspire and retain top talent Champion diversity equity and inclusion; promote the talent and voices of all peopleEnsure compliance of Seattle Goodwill policies and procedures; People and Culture Finance Asset Protection Finance Risk and Safety Customer Service New Goods Inventory and MerchandisingSupervisory Responsibilities: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Goodwills policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing hiring and training employees; planning assigning and directing work; monitoring performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential and Experience:High school graduate or equivalencyRetail leadership experience of 3 years. 2 years leading a sales team in a retail or service environmentExperience leading a team in a customer-centric solutions-based environmentMust be able to engage and speak to customers and understand their needsSkilled understanding of budget metrics PL; min 1 year Certificates Licenses or Registrations:Must have valid Washington Drivers license and proof of insurance along with good driving Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook Teams). Ability to learn new technology and software as related to the Abilities:While performing the duties of this job the employee will be required to lift and carry 20-30 pounds; have developed fine motor control (grasp handle manipulate objects with fingers; standing for long periods frequent bending kneeling reaching stooping squatting pushing; climbing ladders; able to travel across a variety of surfaces (stairs ramps uneven terrain). Ability to operate computer systems. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Able to communicate with others effectively both verbally and written including those who have limited English skills. Occasionally the individual may work outside. Must have reliable transportation as this position requires travel to offsite meetings and events. Able to work a flexible schedule that includes nights and in this job description restricts managements right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
