Opening Fall 2026 AC Hotel & Moxy Dallas Uptown will bring a dynamic new hospitality experience to the heart of Uptown Dallas blending the modern sophistication of AC Hotels with the vibrant energy of Moxy. As part of this exciting dual-branded opening we are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead all food and beverage operations including the signature restaurant bar/lounge banquets and in-room dining. This leader will drive exceptional guest experiences oversee daily operations develop and mentor team members manage inventory and service standards and play a key role in launching one of Dallas most anticipated hotel destinations.

Beverage & Food Manager

The Restaurant & Bar Manager is responsible for leading the daily operations of High Point an elevated rooftop restaurant and cocktail bar. This individual will create memorable guest experiences through exceptional hospitality strong leadership and a passion for food and beverage. The manager will oversee front-of-house operations partner closely with the Executive Chef to ensure consistent execution of High Points service standards culinary vision and craft beverage program.

This role requires an energetic leader who thrives in a fast-paced evening-driven environment and is committed to building a destination dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Brand Standards

  • Deliver service aligned with Marriotts hospitality culture ensuring warm and polished guest interactions.
  • Maintain high guest satisfaction scores through proactive engagement and timely issue resolution.
  • Ensure all food and beverage touchpoints meet Marriott brand standards for presentation cleanliness and service flow.

Operational Management

  • Oversee daily operations of the restaurant and bar.
  • Partner with the Executive Chef on menu updates seasonal offerings and special events.
  • Implement and maintain Marriott SOPs for consistent service.
  • Monitor pacing table turns and staffing levels to optimize efficiency.

Financial & Business Performance

  • Manage departmental budgets forecasting and financial reporting.
  • Control food and beverage costs through purchasing inventory management and waste reduction.
  • Analyze sales trends and develop promotions aligned with Marriott marketing initiatives.
  • Build vendor relationships and negotiate pricing to support profitability.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit train and mentor servers bartenders supervisors and hosts.
  • Conduct coaching performance evaluations and Marriott-required training modules.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure staff compliance with safety sanitation and alcohol service regulations.

Quality Safety & Compliance

  • Maintain adherence to local health department standards and Marriott food safety protocols.
  • Oversee sanitation equipment maintenance and proper storage of food and beverages.
  • Ensure compliance with alcohol licensing laws and Marriott responsible beverage service guidelines.

Beverage Program Leadership

  • Possess a strong understanding of classic and contemporary cocktails premium spirits wine beer and zero-proof beverages.
  • Train and coach the team on beverage knowledge cocktail preparation food and beverage pairings and responsible alcohol service.
  • Maintain consistency in cocktail execution presentation and recipe adherence.
  • Partner with the beverage team on seasonal cocktail menus wine features and rooftop activations.
  • Monitor beverage inventory ordering liquor controls and pour cost.
  • Drive beverage sales through staff education and guest engagement.

Qualifications

  • 35 years of management experience in an upscale restaurant rooftop venue cocktail bar or hotel restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of food wine spirits beer and craft cocktails.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a high-volume restaurant while maintaining exceptional service standards.
  • Experience training servers and bartenders in food and beverage knowledge.
  • Knowledge of responsible alcohol service laws and best practices.
  • Experience with inventory management scheduling labor controls forecasting and P&L management.
  • Experience with Agilysys POS preferred.
  • TABC Certification
