The Wayfarer Restaurant & Lounge is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Restaurant Floor Supervisor to join our growing team!
Located at the oceanfront Surfsand Resort in beautiful Cannon Beach the Wayfarer is known for great food stunning views and genuine Northwest hospitality. As a Floor Supervisor youll play an important role in creating an exceptional dining experience while supporting and developing the team that makes it happen.
This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys being on the floor connecting with guests supporting their team and keeping a busy restaurant running smoothly.
Pay: $26.00 per hour
Status: Full-Time
Schedule: TBD; must be available to work weekdays weekends and holidays
- Lead and support the restaurant team during daily operations helping ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Create a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest through attentive personalized service.
- Be visible on the floor interacting with guests and responding to questions requests and concerns.
- Coach support and develop team members while helping maintain a positive and professional work environment.
- Monitor service standards and staff performance including sales and guest service.
- Maintain high standards for restaurant cleanliness appearance uniforms and overall presentation.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure consistent high-quality food preparation and service.
- Ensure compliance with food safety sanitation and operational standards.
- Coordinate with other departments on shared responsibilities including banquets and posting restaurant charges.
- Conduct department audits and help ensure compliance with company state local and franchise requirements.
- Assist with resolving guest concerns and operational challenges in a professional and timely manner.
- Lead by example and step in wherever needed to support the team and the guest experience.
- Previous restaurant hotel or hospitality leadership experience preferred.
- Associates degree from a two-year college or technical school or an equivalent combination of education and management experience.
- Strong communication leadership and problem-solving skills.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
- Comfortable using computers and learning restaurant and hotel systems.
- Food Handler Certification and current OLCC Service Permit required.
- Must be able to read write and speak English.
- Must be available to work weekdays weekends and holidays.
