Location: Craig CO
Pay Rate: $60.00 $63.00/hr
Schedule: Nights
Contract: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Experience: Minimum 1 year
About the Role
We are hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week contract in Craig CO. This role is ideal for a CRT/RRT with hospital-based respiratory care experience strong airway management skills and the ability to support patients across emergency neonatal pediatric geriatric and critical care settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and effective respiratory care as ordered by physicians
- Administer respiratory treatments medications and therapeutic interventions
- Perform airway management suctioning bag/mask ventilation and artificial airway support
- Initiate maintain and monitor ventilator patients
- Perform arterial blood gas draws and assess respiratory status
- Monitor patient response and recommend appropriate respiratory interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures charges and patient status
- Operate and troubleshoot cardiopulmonary and respiratory care equipment
- Follow infection control safety and patient confidentiality standards
Requirements
- Graduate of a COARC-approved Respiratory Care Program required
- CRT credential required
- RRT credential preferred
- Active Colorado Respiratory Therapist license required
- Minimum 1 year of hospital respiratory experience required
- BLS/BCLS certification required
- NRP certification required or must obtain within required timeframe
- Pulmonary diagnostics experience preferred
- Cardiac diagnostics experience preferred
- Ability to work night shifts
