Respiratory Therapist

Responsibilities :

• Assess treat and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary and respiratory conditions.

• Administer oxygen therapy aerosol treatments and other respiratory care modalities.

• Operate and monitor respiratory equipment including ventilators and related devices.

• Perform respiratory assessments and document patient responses to therapy.

• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans.

• Maintain compliance with safety infection control and regulatory standards.

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience within the specialty.

• Current Georgia Respiratory Care License (RRT).

• Current NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.

• Current AHA BLS ACLS and PALS certifications.

• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible.

• Holiday coverage is required. Travelers must work 2 of the following major holidays:

  • Thanksgiving Day

  • Christmas Day

  • New Years Day

  And 1 of the following minor holidays:

  • Day after Thanksgiving

  • Christmas Eve

  • New Years Eve
