The Respiratory Care Assistant Per Diem will:

• Serve as support personnel for respiratory care practitioners.
• The Respiratory Therapist Assistant is responsible for performing multiple duties in the assembly transport and disinfection of respiratory related equipment and medical supplies.
• The Respiratory Therapy Assistant works under the direction of a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• The Respiratory Therapy Assistant is responsible for maintaining an appropriate level of equipment and medical supplies in the various respiratory work areas and assisting the Respiratory Therapists with various non-patient procedures and tasks as directed.
• The position may assist in training new Respiratory Therapy Assistants or Student Respiratory Therapists on routine therapy assistant functions.

Requirements:
Good communication skills. Ability to interact with various levels including physicians nursing co-workers etc.
Familiarity with medical terminology
Basic computer skills
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple simultaneous demands
Teamwork focused
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing needs

Salary Range:18.00 - 18.00 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors including job-related work experience internal equity and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
