Residential DSP in Waldorf Sunday Wednesday

**Job Summary:**
Bay-CSS is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in Waldorf. This position involves providing care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. The ideal candidate will ensure the well-being and safety of residents promote independence and support community integration.

**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a residential care setting or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly valued.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with residents families and colleagues.
- Capacity to assist residents with daily activities personal care and behavioral support.
- Demonstrated patience empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
- Must have a valid drivers license reliable transportation and car insurance.
- Capable of lifting at least 50lbs and passing a background check.

**Responsibilities:**
- Provide direct care per individualized care plans for residents.
- Assist with daily living tasks meal preparation medication administration and personal hygiene.
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive environment that nurtures resident growth and well-being.
- Implement behavioral support strategies and de-escalation techniques when necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident progress incidents and changes in health or behavior.

**Schedule:**
- Sunday: 7am - 11pm
- Monday Tuesday Wednesday: 3pm - 11pm
- Must work schedule as presented.
- All trainings must be completed within the specified timeframe.

**Compensation:**
- Pay rate is $21 per hour with a $2 weekend differential.
