Job Summary
The Resident Assistant (Caregiver Nursing Assistant CNA) is responsible for providing personal care and delegated health-related services designed to maintain the residents physical and emotional well-being. This position is responsible for following the service schedule for each resident and correctly documents services provided.
There is no experience or certification needed for this position! We provide a robust onsite training program!

Schedule Options:
- Full-Time Days. 6:30a-2:45p. Scheduled includes various weekdays every other weekend and every other holiday.
- Full-Time Evenings. 2:30p-10:45p. Scheduled includes various weekdays every other weekend and every other holiday.
- Full-Time Overnight. 10:30p-6:45a. Scheduled includes various weekdays every other weekend and every other holiday.
- Rotating Shifts - Position will work various shifts and days each week dependent on your availability and community need.
Pay: The targeted pay range for this job is $19.00 - $23.50 per hour. Ecumen considers a variety of factors when determining new hire pay including experience qualifications and when applicable certifications licenses and education.

Learn more at Job Responsibilities:
Assist residents with daily activities like dressing bathing grooming eating toileting mobility and transferring.
Provide morning and evening care including oral hygiene and incontinence care.
Help with use of assistive devices such as glasses and hearing aids.
Administer medications and treatments as delegated by the RN or Clinical Director.
Observe and report changes in residents physical emotional or cognitive condition.
Encourage resident independence by offering choices and promoting self-care.
Collaborate with team members in a flexible fast-paced environment.
Complete light cleaning tasks and support resident activities.
Respond promptly to safety hazards call lights and team needs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written
- Ability to follow all safety rules regulations policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy HIPAA Residents Bill of Rights Universal Precaution AWAIR OSHA Right to know SDS ADA HUD Policy and Procedures Fair Housing laws and regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Previous experience with working with seniors
- Certified Nursing Assistant CNA and/or Home Health Aide
