Position Summary:
The New Graduate Nurse Residency Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting the facilitys Nurse Residency Program ensuring a smooth transition-to-practice experience for newly licensed nurses. This position serves as a mentor advocate resource and program coordinator while fostering professional growth engagement retention and clinical confidence among nurse residents.
The coordinator works collaboratively with Nursing Leadership Clinical Educators Human Resources Workforce Solutions Preceptors Mentors and department leaders to ensure successful implementation of all program components and best practices. The role promotes a culture of excellence professional development and nurse retention while supporting organizational goals and quality outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED. Associate degree preferred.
Certifications: RN License required.
