Research Technician III

The Center for Advanced Molecular and Immunological Therapies (CAMI) located in Downtown Phoenix is seeking highly motivated applicants for the position of Research Technician III. This challenging position will work under the guidance of a Principal Scientist to develop novel therapies against cancer. Successful candidates will demonstrate high levels of enthusiasm dedication and drive to work in a team environment focused on advancing T cell-based immunotherapies.

• Assist in and contribute to the design execute and analyzecomplex experiments.
• Follow detailed protocols and help in identifying troubleshooting and solving problems associated with experimental protocols.
• Perform routine laboratory procedures that include but arenot limited to molecular biology biochemical assays and sterile tissueculture.
• Maintain clear detailed written and digital notebooks ofexperimental design setup calculations and execution of laboratoryprocedures.
• Assist with the acquisition of lab supplies setup upkeepand maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Assist with mouse colony management that includes animalhandling care record keeping and performing experimental procedures. (Basicanimal care is provided by the university animal care (UAC) team this positionis not required to do routine animal care such as cage changes cage cleaningfood and water refilling.
• Clean/sterilize instruments glassware and equipment.
• Assist and follow lab safety protocols and followingestablished procedures for waste material accumulation and disposal.
• Train colleagues in the operation of equipment and orexperimental techniques.
• Additional duties may be assigned.

• High school diploma or high school diploma equivalency is required.
• Minimum 5 years related work experience required.
