Position Summary
This temporary position supports multi-omic data analysis within the UNC IBD Translational Research Platform (Center for Gastrointestinal Biology and Disease). The analyst will process and integrate single-cell and bulk RNA -seq datasets from IBD patient biospecimens develop and maintain reproducible bioinformatics pipelines for differential expression pathway enrichment and cell-type deconvolution and apply machine learning approaches to identify disease-associated transcriptomic signatures relevant to Crohns Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. Work will be performed in Python and R on HPC infrastructure in close collaboration with wet lab and clinical research teams.
