Job Summary
Our client a world leader in biotechnology and life sciences is looking for a Research Associate I.
Location: Santa Monica CA
Job Duration: Long-Term Contract (Potential for conversion at the end of 18 months depending on the needs of the business)
Rate: $35-$39/hr on W2

Key Responsibilities
- Perform mammalian cell culture cell counting media preparation and routine laboratory procedures.
- Execute laboratory experiments following established protocols and SOPs.
- Support laboratory automation liquid handling and sample processing workflows.
- Prepare reagents consumables and materials for experiments.
- Maintain accurate experimental records using electronic laboratory notebooks and laboratory data systems.
- Assist with data collection quality checks and organization of experimental results.
- Troubleshoot routine laboratory and automation workflow issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Biology Biotechnology Molecular Biology Bioengineering Immunology Biochemistry or a related field.
- Hands-on laboratory experience through industry academic research internship or similar experience.
- Practical experience with mammalian cell culture and aseptic technique.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with laboratory automation or liquid handling systems.
- Experience with cell-based assays flow cytometry sample preparation or molecular biology techniques.
- Experience with ELN LIMS or laboratory data management systems.
