Job Summary
Our client a world leader in life sciences and biotechnology is looking for a Research Associate II & III - Assay Development based in Tucson AZ.
Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)
Pay Rate : $27/hr - $34/hr on W2 DOE

THE OPPORTUNITY:
- Conduct research development and manufacturing laboratory experimentation to support Ventana projects.
- Design execute and interpret experiments applying technical expertise toward project strategies.
- Prepare technical reports summaries protocols and quantitative analyses and present results to the team while maintaining complete accurate laboratory documentation in compliance with company policies (e.g. GMP GLP Design Control).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and execute experimental protocols with minimal supervision including making observations and analyzing data.
- Prepare and present technical reports summaries and quantitative analyses; maintain complete and accurate records.
- Troubleshoot problems and institute corrective actions.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment by providing creative solutions and input to project planning.
- Contribute to process improvement suggestions and assist in identifying patentable inventions.
- Train colleagues and monitor work to ensure quality and continuous adherence to the Quality First Time principle.
- Exercise judgment in selecting appropriate methods and techniques for complex problems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Life Sciences
- Experience: 26 years of relevant post-college job experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in a range of specialized wet laboratory techniques (e.g. pipetting using a balance and stir plate etc.); capable of searching scientific literature; skilled with word processing spreadsheet and presentation software.
- Soft Skills: Good communication and presentation skills meticulous attention to detail coachable collaborative and a proven ability and desire to learn.
- Experience with SAFe/Agile planning processes and reporting frameworks (preferred)
