ABOUT US:
POSITION TITLE: Research Assistant I
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Research Assistant will be involved in immunology oncology research encompassing various responsibilities such as maintaining the flow cytometer mouse husbandry assisting with molecule and cell biology experiments and participating in in vivo murine tumor model studies. Working under general supervision the individual will conduct research independently and in collaboration with others. This may include performing experiments interpreting and analyzing results troubleshooting methods and procedures and contributing to experimental design. Other related duties and responsibilities may be assigned as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires a Bachelors degree inbiology or chemical biology cell biology immunology or an equivalent combination of education training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge skill and abilities have been attained.
- Requires 1-3 years experience. Candidates possessing a Masters degree 0-2 years experience required.
- Experience with recombinant protein expression is required.
- Experience with cell and molecular biology is required.
- Experience with murine models and training in multi-color flow cytometry and mouse disease models are essential.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position works in a laboratory or vivarium environment. Further details of the physical requirements of established essential functions for this position will be addressed/discussed during the interview process.
COMPENSATION: The expected hiring range for this position is $20.67 to $25.06 per hour commensurate with experience. Consideration will be given to experience that exceeds the listed requirements.
