Job Summary

This position is on-site and does not support Research Analyst will be responsible for conducting thorough research analysis and vetting activities in support of government operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of accuracy and efficiency consistently meeting government-established quality and production responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Conduct thorough research and analysis of information to assess whether data is identifiable and derogatory in support of risk assessments background investigations or vetting activitiesAnalyze complex data sets and extract key information relevant to security assessments investigations or agency-specific vetting requirementsDraft clear concise and well-supported findings in formal report formats for submission to relevant government agenciesEnsure all submitted work items meet or exceed the governments quality assurance sensitive and confidential information in strict accordance with applicable security regulations data protection protocols and agency policiesUtilize research tools and general office software including Microsoft Excel and Word to effectively manage and document work itemsMaintain strong organizational practices to track and manage multiple active work items simultaneously ensuring timely and accurate completionAdhere to duty hour requirements working flexible hours between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM while maintaining presence during core hours of 9:00 AM 2:30 PMEducation and Experience:Required:High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice Political Science Social Sciences Intelligence Studies or a related field from an accredited college or university preferredAbility to obtain and maintain required security clearance or public trust clearance as required by the contractPreferred:Two (2) or more years of hands-on experience in research analysis or investigations specifically in a government or security-related environmentPrior experience in a security clearance law enforcement or intelligence context is strongly preferredRequired Skills and Competencies:Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess whether information is identifiable and derogatory within a security law enforcement or intelligence contextAbility to analyze complex data and extract key information relevant to risk assessments or background investigationsReport writing experience with the ability to draft clear concise and well-supported findings in formal report formatsStrong written and oral communication skills including the ability to clearly and accurately draft detailed findings and reports for submission to relevant agenciesProficiency in research tools and general office software including Microsoft Excel and WordAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive or classified information in strict accordance with applicable security regulations and policiesStrong organizational skills with the ability to track and manage multiple active work items simultaneouslyAbility to consistently meet or exceed government-established quality to meet or exceed the government-identified hourly production to work to work flexible hours between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM and maintain presence during core hours of 9:00 AM 2:30 PMDesired Skills and Competencies:Experience working in a federal government law enforcement or intelligence community environmentKnowledge of background investigation processes and risk assessment methodologiesExperience managing high volumes of work items while maintaining accuracy and adherence to strict deadlinesFamiliarity with government compliance standards data protection protocols and agency-specific security policiesClearance Requirement:Top Secret Clearance Our Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
