The Front Desk Assistant serves as the first point of contact for the Residential Education and Housing office providing excellent customer service to students staff and visitors. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks in a professional environment.
Department: Residential Education & Housing Location:Reamer 408/409 Student supervisor: Anna Mantas Work available: Days 8:30-5:00 Pay rate: $9.70/hr

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
Answer and direct incoming phone calls and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner
Provide accurate information to students regarding housing policies updates and general inquiries
Assist with disseminating housing-related communications and announcements
Support the Residential Education (ResEd) team with administrative and operational tasks as needed
Maintain a welcoming and professional front desk environment
Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental needs
Qualifications:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to stay organized and manage multiple responsibilities
Professional demeanor and attention to detail
Basic computer proficiency (email word processing etc.)
Location: Schenectady NY
