Job Summary

Summary:
The Representative Operations Services will perform specialized duties of a complex nature for various assignments within the Operations Division. These duties require independent judgment decision-making and extensive coordination with employees other departments vendors and requests from non-district callers.

Responsibilities:
Supports department representatives in executing their duties and provide customer service for all operations issues/needs.

Oversees calendar of events and activities dictated by statute and by school board policies and procedures.

Participates in the creation and maintenance of pertinent data relating to operations.

Disseminates information to interested parties relative to rules policies and practices.

Handles personnel matters of a confidential nature and exercises decision making authority and personal initiative within established policies and guidelines.

Prepares calendars for reporting and payroll purposes.

Identifies and solves customer service problems.

Performs any other duties as assigned.

Experience: Four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in personnel work preferred.

Language Skills: Reads and comprehends simple instructions short correspondence and memos. Writes simple correspondence. Effectively presents information in one-on-one and small group situations.

Mathematical Skills: Adds subtracts multiplies and divides in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals. Computes rate ratio and percent and draws and interprets bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability: Applies understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Deals with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office required Lawson preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Physical Activities: Standing walking sitting handling keyboarding talking and hearing.

Lifting Demands: Up to 10 pounds.

Reaching Activities: Both dominant and non-dominant hand; overhead.

Environmental Conditions: Noise Intensity: 3 moderate.
