Job Duties
- Oversee all rental and used equipment activities while maximizing financial performance.
- Ensure quality shop work and timely shipment to the customer.
- Manage buying and selling of equipment including possible equipment transfers between branches. Manage inventory maintenance and depreciation of equipment. Oversee scheduling delivery and pickup of all equipment.
- Develop sales strategies and coordinate with other departments. Set the pricing for used equipment.
- Maintain direct contact with current and prospective customers. Accompany sales personnel to perform trade-in evaluations at customer facilities.
- Recruit select train develop and counsel personnel.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2-4 years related experience
- Valid drivers license good driving record and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor degree preferably in Business or Marketing . Three to five years experience managing a rental/used fleet with lift trucks and batteries preferred.
- Strong leadership communication time management and decision-making skills.
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and department performance reports.
- Good computer skills with a working knowledge of Excel and Word programs
