VCI is seeking an experienced Senior Ambulance Remount Technician to help rebuild refurbish and remount ambulances that serve first responders throughout the Northeast.
If you have experience with ambulance remounts emergency vehicle upfitting specialty vehicle manufacturing fleet repair fabrication or advanced electrical work wed love to hear from you.

What Youll Do
- Complete ambulance remount projects from teardown through final delivery.
- Transfer ambulance modules onto new chassis.
- Diagnose and repair electrical mechanical HVAC lighting and vehicle systems.
- Fabricate modify and install components as needed.
- Perform inspections testing troubleshooting and quality checks.
- Read and follow schematics specifications and work instructions.
- Support and mentor less-experienced technicians when needed.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in ambulance remounting emergency vehicle upfitting specialty vehicle manufacturing fleet repair truck-body installation or a related trade.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience reading schematics and technical drawings.
- Valid drivers license.
- Welding experience EVT/ASE certifications and direct ambulance remount experience are a plus.
