Remediation Project Supervisor

Clean Harborsis seeking aRemediation Project Supervisor. TheRemediation Supervisoris primarily responsible for leading and supervising crews in the field at customer soil remediation project sites. 95-100% travel will be required to project sites.

******This position requires experience with civil or remediation experience with soil/dirt projects.

Estimated Total Compensation:

• $90000 - $140000 annually

Compensation Breakdown:

• Base Hourly Pay: $26-38/HR DOE

• Overtime (Not Guaranteed): Opportunities for 10-20 hours per week based on project needs

• Per Diem: $55/day while traveling (7 days a week)

Work Schedule: The typical work schedule is 6 weeks on the road and then 1-week home.

Location:Nevada or Arizona is preferred. All other locations will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

• Join a team with a focus on safely executing large technical remediation environmental construction and transportation and disposal projects across the country and internationally;

• Work with a customer base across several business lines including regulatory government and military;

• Collaborate with other industry professionals across our Sales Landfill Incineration Transportation TSDF and local office network leveraging the companys turn-key approach to projects and customer service;

• Lead teams comprised of foreman equipment operators and other professionals;

• Travel to new locations to meet customers and field personnel and see projects in action;

• Work with the support from administrators senior managers and other support personnel and teams;

• Additional annual reimbursement for maintaining certain licenses including a drone pilots license;

• Paid training and tuition reimbursement plus paid continuing education opportunities;

• All other duties as required and directed by management.

• Minimum High School education required;

• Experience in Civil or Remediation dirt/soil projects required;

• BS/BA in ASC or BS/BA Preferred;

• Emergency response supervisor training and Marine Spill Responsetraining preferred;

• Knowledge of scoping and pricing Field Service work;

• Knowledge of Federal state and local environmental regulations;

• Knowledge of various types of equipment;

• Proficiency in Windows based applications.

• 3-5 years of experience in remediation or similar preferred;

• 3-5 years of experience in environmental field service operations preferred;

• 2-4 years supervisory experience preferred;

• Valid DL and acceptable MVR required;

• Ability to travel and fly is required.

Physical Requirements

• This position is physically demanding and candidates must be able to navigate varying site conditions where steep slopes and rugged terrain may be present and walk several miles per day. Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted and wear personal protective equipment including a respirator that may restrict movement when required.

• Requires walking and standing for extended periods of time sitting in equipment that may vibrate or jostle climbing and working at heights pulling/pushing carrying grasping reaching crawling stooping crouching and balance. Requires speaking listening understanding and writing English; color determination depth perception clarity of vision and 20/20 eyesight (corrected or uncorrected).

• Maintains a clean and organized work environment and a clean personal appearance. Facial hair must always comply with the companys respiratory protection facial hair policy.

• Pass a comprehensive pre-employment and annual fit for duty physical drug screen and background clearance.

• Adhere to Clean Harbors policies/procedures and maintain current OSHA 40 RCRA DOT and other training.

• Have and maintain a valid drivers license and driving record that is satisfactory to Clean Harbors and be approved to operate light duty vehicles.

• Must always demonstrate a professional standard of conduct. Clean Harbors employees are expected to represent the company during their entire work rotation on or off our project sites.
