What Youll Do:
- Review and ensure invoices receipts and supporting documentation for reimbursement requests meet
- required compliance with Medicaid and State Self-Direction regulations and organizational policies.
- Verify expenses against approved participant budgets monitor available funds and prevent overspending.
- Review approve and process reimbursements accurately and promptly while maintaining financial
- records.
- Serve as the primary financial liaison for participants families Support Brokers Care Managers Accounts
- Payable Vendors and other internal teams to resolve reimbursement and payment issues.
- Collaborate with the Accounts Payable department to research and resolve outstanding or uncashed
- reimbursement checks and other payment-related issues.
- Track and reconcile participant budgets and personal resource accounts.
- Process reimbursements for allowable goods and services.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Bring To Brightway:
- Two years experience in accounting business or a human services-related field.
- Experience in billingbookkeeping or working with individuals with developmental disabilities in self-direction.
- Proficiency in Excel and Data Management: Ability to create update and manage spreadsheets and reports.
- Strong Organizational Skills: Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain efficient
- workflows.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written communication with Families management and
- outside partners.
- Bilingual Skills (Preferred): Ability to communicate effectively in more than one language is a plus.
- Detail-Oriented & Reliable: Commitment to accuracy follow-through and maintaining compliance.
- Knowledge and Familiarity with Fiscal Intermediary (FI) processes Medicaid billing and State Waiver
- programs.
