Job Overview

As a Respiratory Care Practitioner at The Womens Hospital youll be part of a compassionate highly skilled team dedicated to supporting our most vulnerable patients newborns infants and this role youll provide essential respiratory care services based on physician orders helping deliver life-changing care when families need it most.

Every shift brings the opportunity to make a powerful impactsupporting tiny lungs strengthening fragile beginnings and partnering with clinical teams to improve outcomes for neonatal and pediatric patients.

What Youll Do

In this role youll be trusted to:

  • Perform diagnostic respiratory procedures and assist with specialized assessments
  • Deliver neonatal and pediatric respiratory therapies tailored to each patients needs
  • Administer medications and provide education on equipment use and proper technique for families and caregivers
  • Respond quickly in emergent situations and perform CPR when needed
  • Provide percussion and postural drainage therapies to support airway clearance
  • Collaborate closely with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality family-centered care

What You Bring

Were looking for dedicated confident clinicians who are passionate about pediatric and neonatal care. Required qualifications include:

  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the NBRC
  • Current state licensure in the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
  • If assigned to neonatal/pediatric critical care areas Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required
