The Registered Polysomnographic Technologist performs comprehensive polysomnographic testing analysis and associated interventions under the direction of a physician. This role ensures accurate data collection scoring and reporting of sleep studies while providing patient education and maintaining safety standards throughout the diagnostic and therapeutic process.

Full-Time Night Shift

Are you passionate about improving patients quality of life through sleep health Join our team as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and play a vital role in diagnosing and treating sleep this position you will perform comprehensive sleep studies analyze data and support patients throughout their diagnostic and therapeutic journey while working alongside a dedicated healthcare team.

What Youll Do
  • Prepare calibrate and maintain sleep study equipment.
  • Apply electrodes and sensors according to AASM standards.
  • Conduct overnight polysomnographic studies including:
    • CPAP/BiPAP titration studies
    • Split-night studies
    • Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLT)
  • Monitor patients throughout studies and respond appropriately to sleep-related events and emergencies.
  • Score sleep studies and generate detailed reports in accordance with AASM guidelines.
  • Educate patients on sleep disorders PAP therapy and equipment usage.
  • Ensure equipment functionality and compliance with infection prevention protocols.
  • Accurately document procedures observations and patient interactions within the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development activities.
Qualifications
Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association within 3 months of hire.
Preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited Polysomnography program.
  • Previous experience performing polysomnographic testing and sleep study scoring.
