Schedule: Night Shift 3x12-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: 4 to 5 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract opportunity in Utica New York. This role supports maternity care including antepartum intrapartum postpartum GYN and newborn care in a busy L&D unit.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care for labor delivery recovery postpartum and newborn patients
Support obstetric GYN antepartum intrapartum and postpartum care needs
Assist with C-section triage recovery and L&D patient care workflows
Document patient care accurately using Epic/Stork
Float to Mother Baby pediatrics or adult units as helping hands when needed
Requirements
active new york registered nurse license required
4 to 5 years of labor and delivery experience required
bls acls and nrp certifications required
epic/stork experience required
must be available for night shift 3x12 schedule and floating as needed
