Job Summary
Registered Nurse Supervisor
Location: Hamburg Iowa
Pay Rate: $60/hr $63/hr
Shift: Night Shift 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Schedule: 12-hour shifts; block scheduling preferred 6 on / 8 off
Contract: 16 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Experience: Minimum 6 years required
EMR: CPSI/Evident
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor / Charge Nurse for a night shift opportunity in Hamburg Iowa. This role is ideal for a strong clinical leader with Med/Surg and Emergency Room experience who can function as a working supervisor while supporting patient care staff coordination and unit operations.
Responsibilities

Serve as working Supervisor/Charge Nurse for Med/Surg and ER units

Provide direct patient care in Med/Surg and/or Emergency Room settings

Coordinate nursing staff and support daily shift operations

Assess patient needs and respond to changes in condition

Support clinical decision-making and patient safety during night shift

Collaborate with providers nurses and interdisciplinary team members

Maintain accurate documentation using CPSI/Evident

Promote quality care teamwork and efficient patient flow
Requirements

Active Iowa or compact Registered Nurse license required

Minimum 6 years nursing experience required

Med/Surg and Emergency Room experience required

BLS/BCLS required
-
ACLS required
-
PALS required
-
TNCC required
-
OB/Newborn stabilization education or training preferred

Strong leadership critical thinking and communication skills required
