Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Telemetry
Location: Glendale CA 91206
Duration: 13 weeks
Work Schedule: Night Shift 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Pay rate: $60 - $65/hr
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
- Assess patients health conditions and monitor vital signs cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
- Develop implement and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
- Provide nursing care to patients in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units as assigned.
- Monitor ECG readings and recognize changes in cardiac rhythms promptly reporting critical findings.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses treatments medications and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation using the Epic EMR system.
- Follow patient safety standards infection control protocols and established nursing guidelines.
- Coordinate patient transfers and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
Key Requirements:
- Active California RN license
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Epic EMR experience is mandatory
- Must be comfortable floating between Medical-Surgical (MS) and Telemetry units
- Acute care experience required
