The main Operating Room features seven fully equipped procedure rooms each staffed with one circulator and two surgical technologists per room to ensure optimal patient care and support. Our OR team handles a wide array of specialties including orthopedic and orthopedic trauma sports medicine general surgery gynecology vascular podiatry spine procedures DaVinci robotic cases trauma and urology. Nurses working in this unit are required to maintain current certifications in PALS BLS and ACLS. The OR accommodates both inpatient and outpatient cases offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
How youll contribute...

ARegistered Nurse RNwho excels in this role:
Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs
Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings
Provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing care
Completes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record
Develops implements and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient

What were looking for
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associates or bachelors degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
One year of experience preferred
ASLS certification preferred
