Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU
Duties:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit.
- Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures.
- Perform ongoing assessments of vital signs airway status pain levels and overall recovery.
- Administer medications IV therapies and treatments as ordered.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists surgeons nurses and other members of the care team.
- Provide patient and family education regarding postoperative care and discharge instructions.
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Nursing required
- Active and unencumbered RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year of PACU nursing experience required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
Compensation:$31.00-$36.00/HR
