Were hiring a full-time W-2 Registered Nurse (RN) to provide K12 school-based services for the school year. Whether youre an experienced school nurse or new to the field youll be supported by a team that understands the real challenges and joys of this workand is here to help you thrive.

Position Details

• Caseload: 1:1 RN for Elementary student (3rd grade) on ventilator with a TRACH fed through g-tube seizure disorder
• Schedule: Monday Friday
• Hours: 8am-2pm
• Dates: ASAP - June 2026 (with potential to renew)
• Location: Onsite in Hillside

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 nursing support
• Provide academic and classroom support as well as community vocational exploration
• Coordinate with parents school staff and healthcare providers as needed
• Maintain documentation and comply with school health and safety regulations
• Participate in IEP or 504 Plan meetings when relevant

Qualifications

• Current and Unrestricted Illinois RN License
• 1 years of pediatric nursing experience
• Experience supporting students with complex medical and developmental needs preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• Strong organizational communication and decision-making skills
• Compassionate patient and student-centered
