Registered Nurse (RN) Behavioral Health
Compensation: $33.00-$41.00/HR
Location: Richmond TX
Position Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) Behavioral Health is responsible for supporting the clinical operational and administrative needs of the department. This position provides high-quality nursing care promotes patient safety supervises assigned shifts and ensures that treatment plans nursing policies and procedures are consistently followed.
- Assess patients within established timeframes and develop appropriate plans of care.
- Document assessments interventions patient responses and other clinical findings in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Oversee and supervise the assigned shift.
Qualifications
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing required.
Licensure
- Current Registered Nurse license in accordance with applicable state regulations.
Certifications
- Current CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- De-escalation certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
Requirements:
-Behavioral Health experience
-RN License required
-1 year RN experience
Preferred Experience
Previous experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility is preferred particularly experience working with:
- Chemical dependency
- Dual-diagnosis patients
- Psychiatric patients
- Geriatric patients
