YOU WILL

• Demonstrate knowledge of age specific care for pediatric adolescence patient populations.
• Possess organizational skills which include prioritization planning assessing implementing evaluation teaching and delegating.
• Demonstrate effective working relationships with employees physicians and leadership.
• Ability to listen and confer with personnel practitioners patients parents and the public.
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively as a team member and possesses strong leadership skills.
• Demonstrate ability to act efficiently and rationally in any emergency
• Clear and detailed knowledge of safety patient rights infection control risk management equipment usage and OR standards
  
  

YOU HAVE

Requirements Qualifications

• Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Knowledge regarding the nursing process and its application including the assessment planning implementation and evaluation of nursing care
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (within 60 days of hire)

Preferred

• Bachelors degree in nursing
• Current Kentucky State Nursing License
• A minimum of 3 years experience in the operating room as a circulator and scrub nurse
