Position Title: Registered Nurse - PCU
Location: Columbus OH 43210.
Duration: 13-week
Work Schedule: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Pay rate: $70/hr. blended
for traveller: Pay: $27.70/hr. on w2 taxable $1522.80 non taxable stipend $2520 per week for 36 hours

15E James - Acute Leukemia and Hematology - 12 Hour D/N or 12 Hour Nights- NO CHEMO CERTIFICATION REQUIRED!!!
First Time travelers: Screen to client for review
Experience: Overall 2 years of acute care nursing exp with atleast 1 year of PCU experience
Patient Age Group: Adults Geriatrics
Patient Diagnoses: Primarily care for newly diagnosed acute leukemia patients
Staffing Ratios: Goal is 1:4 but can be 1:5
Weekends: Variable based on unit needs
If you accept a 12D/N rotating contract you may be scheduled for days nights or a combination of both depending on the departments needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period but changes are not guaranteed and are based on staffing priorities at that time.

Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols
Patient falls prevention

ACLS

MS/Tele
Telemetry
Interpretation of dysrhythmias
Telemetry monitoring
Use of Rapid Response Teams
Feeding tube care and management
IV therapy/Phlebotomy
Blood Product Administration
Central line blood draw
Peripheral Line Care/Management
PICC line management
Starting IVs
Computerized Charting: EPIC
