Summary: Utilizes the principles of the nursing process to provide for the continuity and quality of nursing care administered to a specific group of neonate pediatric adolescent adult or geriatric patients consistent with the philosophy goals policies and procedures of the Nursing Department and Hospital Administration. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to the age of the patient served on the nursing unit or by patient care department.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

NYS RN License Required
Accredited School of Nursing Graduate
1 Year Operating Room RN Experience Required
BCLS Required; CNOR or ACLS Preferred

Working Conditions:

Manual: significant manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity

Occupational: Significant occupational risk

Physical Effort: Very Heavy effort. May exert up to 50 lbs. force

Physical Environment: Significant exposure to dirt odors noise human waste etc.
