Registered Nurse, Oconee Heart & Vascular- Monroe

Under the direction and review of a physician thetriage nurseprovides patient care requiring the performance of general medical services in conformance with professional standards and regulations. Acting as atriage nurse demonstrates skills and knowledge necessary to assure assessment treatment and care is appropriate to the age of the patients served. According to established protocolsassessesthe patients health care status and needs and provides patient care to as directed by the physician. Triages emergency walk-in counseling and education to patients in order to enhance patient care. Documents care provided in order to support the continuity of patient care and optimum patient outcomes. Care provided is appropriate for all patients. Performs other duties within job scope as requested. Current State license for RN is required. Completion of Nursing Program at accredited institution is required. 2-3 years physician office experience preferred.
