This is a NICU Level III travel nursing position at an acute care hospital in Apple Valley CA serving a unit with approximately 190 births per month. The traveler may be required to float to the Mother-Baby unit for babies (and may float fully if couplet care experience is present). On-call is not required for this assignment.

• Provide direct patient care in a Level III NICU serving approximately 190 births per month
• Float to the Mother-Baby (MB) unit for babies as needed; candidates with couplet care experience may float fully
• Work every-other weekend with the possibility of exceeding every-other weekend to accommodate unit needs
• Adhere to all scheduling policies scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered
• Submit all RTO (Requested Time Off) at time of submission; approval is based on facility needs

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• At least 1 year of experience in NICU specialty required
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Ability to float to Mother-Baby unit; full float eligibility with couplet care experience

• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required
• Active RN License required

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• At least 1 year of NICU specialty experience required
• First-time travelers accepted: No

• Guaranteed Hours: Facility is permitted to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
