- Days (7:00 AM 7:30 PM)
- Nights (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
Department: Long-Term Care
Location: 3340 Hospital Rd Saginaw MI 48603
Compensation:
- Sign-On Bonus:
- $7000 for eligible full-time day shift roles.
- $10000 for eligible full-time night shift roles.
- Shift Premium: $1.60 per hour in addition to base pay for eligible night shift roles.
- Eligibility for additional Hero Pay
HealthSource Saginaw is seeking compassionate and motivated Registered Nurses to join our Long-Term Care this role you will provide high-quality care to our skilled residents as they rehabilitate recover and achieve their optimal potential to return to an appropriate care setting. Youll extend care to residents in our community by providing them with the quality of life and dignity they deserve in a home-like environment.
As a Registered Nurse you will play a vital role in strengthening our nursing workforce elevating the quality of care for every individual who enters our facility and contributing to a culture of excellence. What Youll Do:
The Registered Nurse will perform the full range of assignments including but not limited to:
- Assess residents condition on admission and on an ongoing basis. Prepare measurable attainable reasonable specific and individualized plan of care for residents.
- Develop and update care plans on a daily or regular basis.
- Provide professional nursing care and perform routine treatments as prescribed by a physician or indicated by resident condition.
- Use professional judgment regarding direction of care or treatment modifications given the condition of the resident.
- Collaborate with members of the multi-disciplinary team in planning evaluating and revising resident plan of care. Direct nursing personnel in implementation of the care plan.
- Observe and evaluate resident symptoms progress and reaction to treatments and medications.
- Recognize changes in residents physiological and/or psychological state and provide safe therapeutic approaches.
- Provide residents families and caregivers with education on diagnosis-related care medications home care techniques and post-discharge rehabilitation requirements.
- Assist in orienting and training new personnel to the unit and serve as a resource person for other facility personnel and students.
What Were Looking For:
:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current BLS/CPR certification (onsite training available if needed).
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan or eligibility to obtain license.
Required Experience:
