Search Station is recruiting on behalf of a confidential client a large comprehensive teaching and acute care hospital in the Rochester New York region. This is a Level II Registered Nurse opportunity in a telemetry setting offering an expanded scope of responsibility that may include serving as a charge nurse preceptor and/or committee member. The role reports to the Nurse Manager and emphasizes clinical excellence evidence-based practice and professional development within a fast-paced acute care environment.
- Active New York State RN License NY license or NY-eligible compact license accepted
- Minimum of 2 years of Registered Nurse experience
- Telemetry experience required
- BLS certification American Heart Association (AHA) only
- Strong clinical assessment and patient-care skills
- Ability to work a non-straight shift schedule based on departmental requirements
- Previous experience in an acute-care hospital setting
- Experience serving as a charge nurse or preceptor
- Familiarity with evidence-based nursing practice and quality improvement initiatives
- Strong commitment to professional growth and patient-centered care
- Provide safe compassionate and evidence-based nursing care in a telemetry environment
- Monitor and assess patients recognizing changes in condition and responding appropriately
- Develop implement and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate effectively with physicians nursing staff ancillary departments patients and families
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Promote patient safety quality outcomes and service excellence
- Participate in professional development and continuing education activities
- Serve in an expanded nursing role charge nurse preceptor and/or committee participation as needed
