• $2/hr -> Monday-Thursday Nights
• $6/hr -> Friday-Sunday Nights
• $2/hr -> Saturday-Sunday Days

What Youll Do:

We are hiring aRegistered Nurse (RN) whoassesses consumers and documents pertinent information including Triage Behavioral Health Physical Health and/or Substance Abuse issues. Demonstrates knowledge of Crisis Intervention and the ability to de-escalate potentially aggressive situations and will provide education to consumers and their families regarding Behavioral Health diagnosis medications and treatments.

• Completes detailed Nursing Assessments with individuals and documents pertinent information including Triage Medical/Behavioral Health assessments and medication administration utilizing appropriate assessment tools. Accurately record all medication brought in by individual on medication reconciliation/storage form.
• Plans individual treatment as part of the Multidisciplinary Clinical team.
• Provides education concerning Psychiatric diagnosis treatment options psychopharmacology and overall health literacy to individuals families and all others involved in the individuals care.
• Intervenes with appropriate verbal interventions to diffuse out of control or potentially dangerous behaviors. Demonstrates ability to effectively use therapeutic option theory and technique and can describe and demonstrate their roles and responsibilities.
• Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of Seclusion/Restraint standards guidelines techniques and initiates documentation and debriefing with individuals for any seclusion/restraint incidents as required.
• Accurately transcribes Provider orders and administers medications as prescribed. Attempts to have individual sign medication consent form. Performs chart checks and signs off as a second noted on medications prescribed. Draw labs and provide wound care as ordered by Providers when required.
• Completes nurse to nurse at discharge or when accepting individual from another facility.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

What Youll Bring:

• Graduated from an accredited Nursing program
• Unrestricted active license as Registered Professional Nurse through the Arizona State Board of Nursing or hold a multistate licensure privilege
• The Company has a mandatory vaccination policy. All successful applicants must be fully vaccinated including showing proper documentation or otherwise be exempt pursuant to the Companys exemption process prior to their start date as a condition of employment
• Physical Requirements
  • Safely perform physical interventions (e.g. standing pivoting reaching kneeling lowering to the floor and supporting another persons weight)
  • Lift push pull or carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally
  • Tolerate prolonged walking standing and observation in a fast-paced environment
  • Work with individuals who may exhibit agitation aggression or unpredictable behavior

It would be great if you had:

• Bachelors degree in Nursing
• At least 1 year of psychiatric behavioral health or relevant experience
• Previous emergency room or crisis psychiatric care experience
• Familiarity with Court Ordered Treatment process
• Experience working with individuals with addiction and addiction management
