This position is an Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse travel/contract role at an Acute Care Hospital in Torrance CA. The position offers an elevated seasonal winter rate; please note that on 2/27 rates will return to standard amounts contact the Account Manager for specific rate details. Please note: canceling due to a rate change after signature will result in a system DNR.

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room setting with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Float to Pediatrics (Peds) as needed; support will be provided if a float situation arises.
• May be required to float to Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro.
• Fulfill weekend requirements of every other weekend (68 shifts per contract).
• Utilize Epic for electronic charting.

• Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience required.
• Current ACLS certification required.
• Current BCLS certification required.
• Current NIH (NIH Stroke Scale) certification required.
• Current PALS certification required.
• Ability to float to like units (Peds) with available support.

• Active RN License required (Pending License not accepted).
• ACLS certification required.
• BCLS certification required.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required.
• PALS certification required.
