ABOUT THE ROLE
This isnt a typical nursing job. At Forward Focus our physicians carry limited practice size which means youll actually know your patients. Youll see the same faces follow care over time and build the kind of relationships that make this work meaningful.
This nurse will operate as a floater between our North Suburb offices.
Werelooking for a nurse who brings both clinicalskilland genuine warmth. Someone who is equally comfortable triaging a call collaborating with a physician and taking the extra moment to make a patient feel at ease. If that sounds like youwedlove to meet you.
WHAT YOULL DO
Patient care & relationships
Build meaningful long-term connections with patients through direct consistent contact
Conduct phone triage and respond to clinical inquiries with sound judgment and care
Educate patients on medication management health precautions and care plans
Uphold HIPAA guidelines toalways ensure patient confidentiality
Clinical responsibilities
Manage test results medication refills and prior authorizations
Perform lab draws specimen collection immunizations and EKGs
Collaborate closely with physicians and staff to deliver coordinated top-quality care
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
Current active Registered Nurse license in the state of Illinois
Minimum two years of hospital or clinical nursing experience
Strong clinical judgment and the ability to prioritize patient needs confidently
Excellent communication skills with patients physicians and teammates
Proficiencywith electronic medical records (EMR) systems
