Heart Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab
Our state-of-the-art Heart Catheterization (Cath) and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab is dedicated to providing comprehensive cardiovascular care. We operate 5 advanced labs including one dedicated EP lab three Cath labs and one hybrid lab in the OR.
Hybrid OR Capabilities:Our facility include a cutting-edge Hybrid Operating Room (OR) that allows for seamless integration of both Cath and EP procedures ensuring the highest level of patient care and procedural efficiency. Our hybrid cases focus on Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) Structural Hearth Mitral Valve Repair (MVR) and device explants.
Case Volume:
- Catheterization (Cath) Cases:We handle around 10-14 Cath cases each day focusing on diagnostic and interventional procedures such as coronary angiography percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) stent placement intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) fractional flow reserve (FFR) measurements Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO) procedures and treatment of STEMI (ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction).
Our team of highly skilled cardiologists electrophysiologists nurses and technologists work collaboratively to deliver exceptional care utilizing the latest technology and techniques to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Position Purpose
The Registered Nurse works in a collaborative environment at Trinity Health to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team supplying evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care. Nurses are expected to ease all aspects of the patient visit experience.
Status available: Contingent minimum of four shifts per month - No Call
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Requires current Michigan Nursing License
Graduation from accredited nursing program
BSN degree preferred or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years
Licensure
Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License.
