RD Nutrition Consultants is seeking a Clinical Registered Dietitian (RDN) to support a skilled nursing facility in a part-time capacity. This position offers a consistent schedule with flexibility in selecting your workdays along with the opportunity to build a long-term relationship with the facility.
Position Details:
Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility
Schedule: 12-16 hours per week
Flexibility: Choose your own days
Compensation: $36$41 per hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Complete nutrition assessments for new admissions and quarterly reviews
Develop implement and monitor individualized nutrition care plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams (physicians nurses therapy etc.)
Provide nutrition education and counseling as needed
Ensure compliance with CMS DOH and state/federal regulations
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Monitor resident weights and identify nutrition-related concerns
Conduct kitchen sanitation audits and support food service quality
Review and approve menus to ensure USDA compliance
Qualifications:
Registered Dietitian (RDN) credential required
Bachelors or Masters degree in Nutrition Dietetics or related field
Active state licensure (if applicable)
Clinical experience preferred (skilled nursing or LTC a plus)
Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
Experience with EMR/charting systems
