Select Medical is seeking a proactive customer-focused Regional Technology Operations Specialist II to support hospitals and clinical operations across a designated region. This role provides technical services for the installation configuration maintenance troubleshooting and support of endpoint devices software applications networking equipment printers mobile devices and telecommunications technologies.

This position reports to the Supervisor Regional Technology Operations.
Please note that this position requires regular travel throughout the assigned region including periodic overnight stays.

- Provide advanced end-user support for desktops laptops mobile devices printers scanners clinical technologies and related peripherals.
- Respond to and resolve incidents requests tasks and problems assigned through the Solution Center ensuring timely communication and resolution.
- Install configure troubleshoot maintain and repair hardware operating systems software applications and network-connected devices.
- Support local and wide-area network connectivity and assist with telecommunications and VoIP-related issues.
- Escalate complex or out-of-scope issues to appropriate teams or vendors and ensure proper follow-through.
- Assist with hospital openings acquisitions relocations closures equipment deployments upgrades and technology refresh initiatives.
- Coordinate with corporate IS teams and vendors to implement technology projects and infrastructure improvements.
- Maintain accurate documentation relating to equipment inventory network infrastructure cabling software revisions and device locations.
- Monitor and report potential security concerns and unauthorized access to corporate systems and data.
- On-call after-hours support for critical business and patient-care systems.
- Support disaster recovery testing and business continuity activities as assigned.
- Collaborate with Systems Administrators Engineers and other IS teams on projects and operational initiatives.
- Complete additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of Information Systems experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience supporting endpoint devices operating systems and network infrastructure technologies.
- Experience troubleshooting Windows desktop and laptop environments.
- Strong customer service communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing business needs.
- Strong organizational skills attention to detail and sense of urgency.
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout the region.
- Availability to provide support outside normal business hours when .
Preferred Qualifications
- 7 years of Information Systems experience.
- Experience supporting HP and Ricoh printers scanners tablets smartphones and related peripherals.
- Knowledge of networking telecommunications VoIP and infrastructure technologies.
- Experience supporting clinical and healthcare technologies including nurse call systems telemetry medication dispensing systems and other patient-care devices.
- Familiarity with Epic MEDHOST or other healthcare applications.
- Experience in multi-site healthcare or enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of Microsoft productivity applications and endpoint management tools.
- Healthcare industry experience preferred.
- Strong documentation and process improvement skills.
- Experience working in and navigating ServiceNow.
