The Regional Sales Manager has responsibility for implementing and executing a successful sales strategy while driving sales growth and maintaining gross profit objectives while recruiting training and managing territory equipment sales reps in Upstate New :The main responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and for the performance and development of the Account action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new in the development and implementation of marketing plans as one-on-one review with all Account Managers to build more effective communications to understand training and development needs and to provide insight for the improvement of Account Managers sales and activity timely feedback to senior management regarding timely accurate competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval while striving to maintain maximum profit accurate records of all pricings sales and activity reports submitted by Account Account Managers with proposal presentations and RFP Account Managers in preparation of proposals and that all Account Managers meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls appointments presentations proposals and examples for Account Managers in areas of personal character commitment organizational and selling skills and work regular coaching and counseling with Account Managers to build motivation and selling skillsMaintains contact with clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfactionProactively uses and reinforces with the Account Managers the proactive use of eCRM as our CRM Altas Guiding Principles into daily activitiesPerforms other duties as assignedConsistent regular and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start timeDesired Skills and Qualifications:5 years B2B sales management in the construction equipment industryBachelors degree in business or equivalent requiredPossess excellent verbal and written communication skillsFast paced high energy individual with an aggressive sales styleMust have valid drivers license clean driving record and automobile insuranceComputer programs - Microsoft Word Excel Outlook Skills -Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the Skills - Intermediate: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions proportions percentages area circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and Ability - High: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instruction furnished in written oral diagram or schedule Demands/Work Environment:Physical/Sensory Functions: Regularly will use hands talk/hear; Frequently will sit; Occasionally will stand walk reach with hands and arms stoop kneel crouch or crawl taste/smellVision: No special vision requirementsLift and/or Move Functions:Frequentlywill lift up to 25 pounds; Occasionally will lift 26 to 50 poundsWork Environment: Occasionally will work near moving mechanical parts fumes or airborne particles outdoor weather condition
